Do not skip your Meals- Muskan Khanna

Meals surely are significant for our survival, without taking the appropriate amount of meal our quality of life can vary. With a proper amount of meal, we can unfold the many beautiful aspects of life.


Skipping meals can cause various problems in the long term that can adversely affect the well-being of the human being. By doing so, metabolisms start converting fat into energy which can lead to health issues like low blood pressure, fatigue, constipation, and nausea.


A healthy meal consists of various nutrients which are essential for our body. These nutrients are protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals, and water. The proper balance of these nutrients in the body can give us a healthy life and purpose in life.


All the nutrients are equally important for our body. Lack of anything can cause certain deficiencies in the body and can affect the proper functioning of the body. For example,

  1. Lack of protein can cause loss of muscle mass, slow metabolism, Anemia and your cells don’t get enough oxygen, which makes you tired.

  2. Lack of carbohydrates can cause low energy & fatigue.

  3. Lack of fats can cause dry rashes, hair loss, and a weaker immune system.

  4. Lack of vitamins can make red blood cells unable to carry oxygen from your lungs throughout your body.

  5. Lack of minerals can cause a variety of health problems such as weak bones, fatigue, or a weak immune system.


So there should be a balanced diet in your meal, we should include all the necessary nutrients in our meal as it is the key to a healthy lifestyle.

In order to lead a healthy lifestyle, we can make certain changes to our daily routine and successfully take in enough nutrients. Making a timetable and sticking to it can help the body get into a good routine or develop a habit so that it will naturally request the meal at the precise time that we have scheduled our mealtime.


So, it is a necessity to have the meal on time and not to skip it as survival is the basic need of a human being.
