Social Media!! –

Each one of us uses social media.

Oh, wait! you know what, social media uses us more!


Yes, I mean it. Don’t you catch your phone as soon as you get a notification?


Don’t you use it in the name of taking short breaks?


Don’t you take out time from your hectic schedule, and scroll and scroll and scroll most of the time?


Indeed, we all do this. We must be the ones who control the technologies, but it must not go the other way round. Spending countless hours on social media makes us very good procrastinators & at the end of the day, we feel the guilt of wasting our precious time and a beautiful day. Sleeping with the guilt of not being able to do anything during the entire day, makes us unhappy.


3 ways to save yourself from the Trap of social media


1)Set an Alarm – Take the help of your Alarm Clock, set an alarm of 30min, and use social media at that time only. Reward yourself with tea, coffee, candy, or whatever you like if you complete this task.


2)Change Data Usage Settings – Grab your device, jump up to the settings option and set limits for data usage on your Instagram, Facebook, and other Social Media Apps.


3)Smile & Make your Mind Happy – Instead of using social media replace it with one activity that makes your mind happy and keeps you smiling. I listen to music. You can cook for yourself, go on a drive, dance to your favorite music, paint your walls and pots, play outdoor games, or have a nice chat with your family or friends.
