Do not trust people too soon - Rajdeep Sikder

Trust is a delicate and important aspect of any relationship, be it personal or professional. It is an essential ingredient that helps us build meaningful connections with others and makes us feel safe and secure.

However, trusting people too soon can be risky that can lead to disappointment, betrayal, and even harm.

Trustworthiness is a virtue that does not come for free. It needs to be earned.

In life, you will meet many people who will be nice and kind to you. They will try to engage with you and help you. They will support your dreams and ideas. They will even join in with you on your ventures. It is important to observe and know which of these people you can truly trust.

As there will be many who will only want to reap benefits out of you. There will also be many who will backstab you and make you lose all of your gains.

It is hard to acknowledge exactly how trustworthy people can be. Trust takes time. So, take your time and observe.

Because trust is like a bond that gets created over a long period of time. It takes a great jolt to break it. And once it does break, it is incredibly hard to mend it back.

People lose lifelong friendships and relationships over the loss of trust. So don't rush in and give your trust to just anybody. Make them earn it. Observe their behaviour and only then judge for yourself if you can trust the person or not.

Remember, once they gain your trust, they can use it to support you. Help you to grow. But they can also use it to bring you down and ruin you.

Once that happens, everything that you had worked for over the years will be for naught. They might also use your trust to exploit the people around you and turn them against you. The people you love. The people who trust you. So be cautious.

Trust your own instincts and intuition when it comes to evaluating others. Sometimes, you may get a gut feeling that something is not quite right about a person, and it is essential that you listen to that feeling. You might want to ignore those instincts and give the person the benefit of the doubt, but it is always better to trust yourself before somebody else.

So, the next time you meet someone new, take the time to get to know them before placing your trust in them.
